Secondary Schools Offering Literature in Tamil in Singapore (42), by Cut-off
Literature in Tamil is the study of Tamil literary works, suited to students strong in Tamil. It is an upper secondary elective: students choose it at the end of Secondary 2 and take it in the Secondary 4 national exam (SEC, which replaces the O-Level from 2027). Only 42 of the 139 secondary schools with cut-offs offer it (30%), so the school you choose now decides whether your child can take it later.
The tables group the schools by their 2025 PG3 cut-off. Find the band that contains your child's PSLE score. Each cell is the range of scores admitted that year; the number on the right is the cut-off (the last student admitted), and a smaller number is harder to get into. "—" means the school does not take that posting group. At exactly the cut-off, citizens go first, so PRs and international students should leave 1 more point.

Before you choose
- A school offering Literature in Tamil does not guarantee every student a place in it: schools cap the class and usually select by Secondary 2 results and interest. At the open house, ask how many students take it each year.
- The list comes from data.gov.sg school information (2026 edition); schools can add or drop subjects.
To rank six choices by your child's score, home address and commute, start with the free preview and tick the subject under "Must offer".
